Rankings

For courses
For the whole institution

From the Ministry of Education, Government of India's NIRF 2025 lists, checked 25/10/2026. Ranks 101 and below are given in bands.

How to read rankings

  1. The course rank matters more than the overall rank. A college can be average overall and excellent for law.
  2. Each list measures different things. NIRF scores teaching, research, results after graduation, how inclusive a college is, and its reputation.
  3. Small gaps mean little. Ranks 12 and 18 are close; don't choose on a few places.
  4. Not ranked isn't bad. Colleges choose whether to take part, and new or small ones often don't.
