Set up in 1998 under Act 34 of 1998, on a 50-acre campus at Shameerpet on the edge of Hyderabad. Students live in double rooms in the halls of residence. Also runs an MBA and a 5-year BBA-MBA.

How to read rankings

  1. The course rank matters more than the overall rank. A college can be average overall and excellent for law.
  2. Each list measures different things. NIRF scores teaching, research, results after graduation, how inclusive a college is, and its reputation.
  3. Small gaps mean little. Ranks 12 and 18 are close; don't choose on a few places.
  4. Not ranked isn't bad. Colleges choose whether to take part, and new or small ones often don't.
