Campus of NID Ahmedabad; same exam, dates and fees. After Class 12: 5.5-year Integrated M.Des. in 3 subjects (9 seats each). After a degree: 2.5-year M.Des. in 8 subjects, including the new Design Trends and Futures and the M.Des. in Design Education (for people who already hold a design master's, or a B.Des. plus any master's). Hostel for both boys and girls: ₹17,500 per semester for Integrated M.Des. students. Apply by 30 November 2026; DAT Prelims Sunday 20 December 2026. Rankings
Not in the NIRF 2025 lists.That doesn't make it a poor choice — colleges decide whether to take part, and many good ones are too new or too small. Check its approvals, results and fees instead.
How to read rankings
- The course rank matters more than the overall rank. A college can be average overall and excellent for law.
- Each list measures different things. NIRF scores teaching, research, results after graduation, how inclusive a college is, and its reputation.
- Small gaps mean little. Ranks 12 and 18 are close; don't choose on a few places.
- Not ranked isn't bad. Colleges choose whether to take part, and new or small ones often don't.
