Rankings

Not in the NIRF 2025 lists. That doesn't make it a poor choice — colleges decide whether to take part, and many good ones are too new or too small. Check its approvals, results and fees instead.

How to read rankings

  1. The course rank matters more than the overall rank. A college can be average overall and excellent for law.
  2. Each list measures different things. NIRF scores teaching, research, results after graduation, how inclusive a college is, and its reputation.
  3. Small gaps mean little. Ranks 12 and 18 are close; don't choose on a few places.
  4. Not ranked isn't bad. Colleges choose whether to take part, and new or small ones often don't.

Where this comes from

Checked on 30/10/2026 on these official pages:

Couldn't confirm yet: First-semester fee for 2026/2027 entrants: not in the fee circular; the prospectus fee section (page 107) could not be read; Fee circular PDF is a scan with garbled text; semester-2 figure (₹1,50,000) should be rechecked; Seats per programme at Delhi (no campus seat matrix found on nift.ac.in; FAQ only says 5 extra NRI/foreign seats per programme at Delhi); Type: NIFT is set up under the NIFT Act; its 'Institution of National Importance' wording was not read on an official page (Act PDF not read); Campus area/address (not read); Hostel fee and details (campus page only says residential accommodation exists); M.F.Tech test structure (bulletin section not read); NAAC: not found; NIRF 2025: no Design category, so no rank; Some nift.ac.in pages failed to load (/delhi/academics, /about-nift, Admissions Guidelines 2027 PDF).
