Rankings

For courses

From the Ministry of Education, Government of India's NIRF 2025 lists, checked 25/10/2026. Ranks 101 and below are given in bands.

How to read rankings

  1. The course rank matters more than the overall rank. A college can be average overall and excellent for law.
  2. Each list measures different things. NIRF scores teaching, research, results after graduation, how inclusive a college is, and its reputation.
  3. Small gaps mean little. Ranks 12 and 18 are close; don't choose on a few places.
  4. Not ranked isn't bad. Colleges choose whether to take part, and new or small ones often don't.

Couldn't confirm yet: Year founded: only the 1999 Act is stated, not the year teaching began; B.Sc. LL.B. fee (brochure gives the B.A. LL.B. fee only; the 2026 fee PDF on nujs.edu could not be read); Seat count: older nujs.edu B.A. LL.B. page (2023) shows 132 seats; CLAT 2027 brochure says 120 (used); Ph.D. admission route, fee and seats; Hostel for B.Sc. LL.B. and LL.M. students (brochure lists hostel fee for B.A. LL.B. only); NAAC grade CGPA and cycle.
